Nym operators AMA: Toward a more equitable ecosystem

Everyone in the Nym community is welcome to join us for a very special installment of the Nym operators AMA on Tuesday 17 June at 14:30 UTC.
Nym is more than VPN: it’s also an evolving global community of node operators, running independent servers that provide online privacy as an essential service. These service providers are rewarded for their contributions through NYM tokenomics.
The Nym team, in collaboration with operators, has put in a lot of time over the last years to design and improve this system of tokenomics. The ongoing project is meant to ensure that operators are rewarded in a way that is both equitable and reflective of the work necessary to provide privacy and route traffic through the Nym network.
Tomorrow’s operator AMA will include a special guest: Nym’s Chief Scientist, Claudia Diaz, PhD. Claudia will discuss an upcoming Nym Improvement Proposal (NIP), focusing on reducing the stake saturation point variable, the composition of the active set of operators, and what it will mean for operator rewards. The aim is to improve on the decentralization of the network by enabling new, top quality operators to be able to join and compete.
