The fight for the Internet is a human one: What Nym can do to help
The tools for creating and open and private Internet are being forged, and you can help

Today people across the world are struggling desperately to improve their lives, their communities, and defend their rights as human beings. As they were yesterday, and will be tomorrow. And the Internet is a vital resource in these fights. It’s where we can connect with each other near and far, across cultures and languages.
The web is more than technology. It's where we can broadcast to the world what is happening to us, what we are trying to build. It’s where we can find concrete tools and information to help us learn, survive, and keep fighting against injustice. The Internet is human.
The reality is that there are global forces doing everything they can to block it or shut it down completely. This is an attempt to control people’s lives by shutting them off from the world, from each other. Nym is here to make sure that everyone can access the Internet without fear, knowing their privacy is protected.
Nym’s work will sometimes be in the shadows. But rest assured:
Where they splinter the web with walls, Nym will try to dig tunnels.
Where surveillance shines its spotlight everywhere, Nym will try to give you cover.
Where your personal life is a signal to be tracked, Nym will drown it with noise.
Where voices are being censored, Nym will try to clear the road forward.
