NymVPN now accepts $ADA (Cardano)
Building the best dVPN & mixnet for crypto, now with the support of Cardano

For Nym, online privacy is the condition for digital freedom. That’s why we’re working with new blockchains like Midnight Network to ensure that their protections for private payments and private smart contracts extend to the network level.
Today, we’re excited to announce that NymVPN now accepts payments in ADA (Cardano) as a first step. We did this thanks to a collaboration with the Cardano developers at Blink Labs, whose NabuVPN is the first VPN to accept $ADA. We’re looking forward to collaborating even more with Blink Labs and the wider Midnight eco-system on decentralized VPN technology.
At Nym, our mission has always been clear: protect users at the network layer by shielding metadata and making mass surveillance as technically difficult as possible by using cutting edge research. Although Cardano is a transparent chain until Midnight launches, Cardano shares a similar ethos to Nym at the blockchain layer: building decentralized infrastructure on top of research with a strong emphasis on security, formal methods, and long-term resilience.
In the future, we plan to support Midnight for privacy-enhanced payments. We hope that this first step of supporting ADA will expand the ways the Nym and Midnight communities can support privacy-preserving infrastructure while using one of the most research-driven blockchain ecosystems in the world.
With ADA payments now live, we’re bringing these two worlds closer together.
